Area rugs should be spot cleaned with a solution of mild detergent and cold water or cleaned professionally for heavy or set-in stains. Regular vacuuming helps rugs remain attractive and serviceable. Use the highest adjustable height setting on your vacuum and do not use of the beater bar or rolling brush to avoid damaging the face of the rug. The use of a rug pad is recommended to keep the rug laying smoothly in place and to help prolong the life of the rug.
